Here's what you need to know:

Refunds: Available within 15 days of purchase (original shipping fees non-refundable)
Exchanges: Available within 30 days of purchase for same model or equal-value product
Return shipping: Customer responsible for return shipping to our Houston, TX facility

To start a return: Contact Customer Service for a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) at 1-800-237-9175, Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. CT

CHI tools include a limited warranty of one (1) to two (2) years with proof of purchase. The warranty period varies by model; please refer to your owner’s manual for the specific coverage duration.

Once you confirm that your tool is within the warranty period, please follow the instructions below to submit for replacement through our warranty program.

Package the tool and included the following:

• A note containing your full name, physical address (no P.O. Boxes), phone number, and a brief description of the issue(s).
• A copy of your receipt showing the place and date of purchase.
• A check or money order for $15.00 USD, payable to Farouk Systems, Inc., to cover shipping and handling. Please note that we do not provide pre-paid shipping labels and customers are responsible for all shipping costs.

Our products have a shelf life of three years when unopened and one year once opened. You can determine the manufacturing date by reading the batch number, typically found on the bottom of the packaging. For example, a code like 25C08508 indicates the year and month of production, the first two digits represent the year, and the letter corresponds to the month (A = January through L = December).
